Majorca is Hartford's newest and hottest Mediterranean and tapas restaurant, bar and private event location.
Our mission is to present the best, freshest, local ingredients into an innovative cuisine, paired with wines from Spain, California and other parts of the world in a contemporary and inviting neighborhood atmosphere.
When you step into Majorca, you feel as if you have been swept away onto the island itself. From the light, breezy whites and creams of the decor to the rich exposed brick outlining the bar, dining room and outdoor patio, Spain's premier destination island is visible at every glance.
The lounge is a bustling upscale-casual tapas and wine bar with unique cocktails and local craft beers that serve as host to a lively after-work and weekend bar scene. The dining room is spacious and elegant, with rich copper and burgundy accents and flickering candlelight.
At the far end of the dining room, a vintage bank vault is the unique home of the wine "cellar". Adjacent to the main dining room is the Majorca Room, a private space that can accommodate up to 20 guests with custom menu options and audio visual equipment available upon request.
And then there’s our Valencia Room, Hartford’s most coveted venue for private events. With a private bar and individualized menu options, the Valencia Room accommodates events for from 75-100 people.
From corporate catering to political fundraisers, wine and beer tastings, weddings, showers and birthday parties, this space is indeed, quite special. Catering and event coordinator Rachel Markoja takes a hands on approach to creating one-of-a-kind events that exceed your expectations.
